The 26th

The 26th Paris Biennale des antiques have left me with a newfound passion for jewellery.

Walking into the Wonderland hall created by Karl Lagerfeld your eyes get drawn in so many directions all filled with wonderful creations, its hard to decide where to start! As you wonder further and further into the hall you are surrounded by pieces of exquisite beauty and detail not only in the jewellery, but also the stunning antiques. This is the one exhibition where absolutely everything makes your mouth drop open!

The big diamond houses such as Cartier, Boucheron, Van Cleef And Arpels and many more continued to amaze with truly exceptional pieces, some of which they create especially for the biennale with themes that ranged from Haute Couture, Old Glamour through to Fantasy. These incredible designs made with exceptional craftsmanship were truly inspirational.

The show is a truly amazing event celebrating beautiful design and incredible craftsmanship from the past to the present, whilst fuelling enthusiasm and inspiration for the future
